About Me

Your therapy sessions aren’t about me — but I do have to be there for them to take place. So here’s a bit about me.

Personal snapshot:

  • My preferred language is 90s and early‑2000s rom‑com quotes.

  • I love to bake sourdough—when I actually remember to feed the starter.

  • I’m convinced the Take 5 candy bar is the best ever made.

  • I’m very particular about how I prepare my coffee.

  • I will never not stop to pet a dog (it’s a genuine problem).

  • And more often than not, you’ll find me humming the Hamilton soundtrack between sessions.

My Story & Approach

After a past life in marketing and event management, I made the scary but deeply rewarding decision to listen to that quiet voice in the back of my mind and become a therapist. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself—and I’ve never looked back.

I take a lighthearted, down-to-earth approach to mental health. Humor and authenticity are my favorite tools for helping clients feel comfortable enough to dive into meaningful work. At the same time, lighthearted doesn’t mean surface-level. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I’m not afraid of the heavy, deep, or complicated parts of the human experience. I’ve found that when humor and safety coexist, even the heaviest stories can begin to feel a little lighter.

Over time, I’ve learned that real change happens once you feel genuinely at ease—when you can speak freely and be truly heard.

Therapy, to me, works best when it’s rooted in understanding, collaboration, and motivation. I strive to create a space where clients feel supported and inspired to make powerful strides toward a more fulfilled version of themselves. I take the time to understand each person’s experiences, challenges, and motivations, tailoring my approach to fit their needs—not the other way around.

My style is direct, person-centered, and deeply humanistic. I believe in the power of authenticity, and I’m here to help you connect the dots—but you’re always the expert on your own life.
